Oolong Tea
Why do I drink oolong tea instead of green tea? Current research shows people burn around 67 more calories a day from just one cup of oolong tea — and it specifically oxidizes FAT! The research shows that fat oxidation was a significant 12% higher after drinking just one cup of oolong tea a day. Do we need more research? YES! But in the meantime, it looks like oolong tea not only helps to burn more calories… but specifically oxidizes fat!

Adagio Tea has the best oolong tea I have found, and the most variety of flavors. Most come in looseleaf tea, but the IngenuiTea by Adagio Teas is the most convenient teapot for looseleaf tea that you will find anywhere.
I also love rooibos tea for fighting sweet cravings. The cinnamon apple rooibos flavor is my favorite.
How do I make it? I brew looseleaf tea in my IngenuiTea. Ingenuitea is a personal brewing system that Adagio makes. I really love it. It is so simple to clean and makes a perfect cup of tea to be served hot or poured over ice.
Pros of IngenuiTea:
- It is is made of food-grade, SGS-free, BPA-free plastic
- It is durable and portable – weighing only nine ounces
- It is an ideal size for one to two cups of tea, making it perfect for individuals and couples
- It is incredibly easy to use – just add tealeaves and water, steep, and set it on top of a cup or mug to release the tea
- It includes a drip tray to prevent any messes from spills
- It is easy to clean
Place looseleaf tea in with boiling water. When tea is ready, simply place it atop your cup. Crystal-clear tea flows down, while the mesh filter retains all the leaves inside the IngenuiTea. Super easy to clean and dishwasher safe. The plastic is specially-formulated to be safe in hot-temperature applications and is 100% BPA-free.
You can buy the same IngenuiTea that I use here.
Drink up! Cheers!
